Dear Brethren,                                                                                                September 2013

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ.

With summer now coming to an end I would like to thank the Lord for His blessings on us here in Bulgaria over the last few months.  Along with the nine church services I go to in different villages every week, the Lord blessed us with several other special services this summer.  God is so good to us and I am truly thankful for all He is doing in Bulgaria and Romania.

In July we had 30 believers being baptized in a special service.  Around 270 believers from some of our churches in various villages came to this meeting.  While were baptizing these 30 believers the rest of the people stood on the bank of the river and sang hymns.  After the baptism we had church service and some stayed up all night singing hymns, testifying, praying and preaching.  The next morning we had another service and the Lord really blessed.

In August we had another baptism with 19 believers being baptized that day.  We had church services that evening and the next day also.

This summer we were able to have special services in Romania.  We took some of the believers from our churches in Bulgaria up to Romania to have church services with the believers there.  The services lasted for several days and nights and the Lord blessed in a great way.  Everyone rejoiced, worshiped and enjoyed the Lord.  It was such blessing.

We also had a special meeting this summer in Bulgaria where we brought in believers from many of our village churches to one village and had an overnight service.  Some stayed up all night fellowshipping and worshiping God and continued having church the next day.

I just want to say how privileged I feel to have a small part in the Lord's ministry here in Bulgaria.  We give God all the glory!

I want to thank each and every church and individual who support us and this ministry.  I am truly thankful for your prayers and financial support.  We love and appreciate you all and pray the Lord Jesus will continue to richly bless you.

In Christ,  Frank Cornelius

Dear Brethren,                                                                                                                             April 2013

Grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

I first want to say how much I love and appreciate each and every one of you. I am so thankful for your faithful prayers and support for us and the ministry here in Bulgaria.

After 20 years the Lord continues to bless the churches over here in Bulgaria and I feel privileged just to have a small part in what He is doing. I am currently going to nine different church services every week in different villages. Where we preach, sing hymns, pray and testify. It is such a blessing to see these gypsies getting touched by the Lord. When we sing hymns I see them crying and many stand up and testify about how good Jesus has been to them. Even though they are dirt poor, they say how rich they are in Christ. Some of these Believers live in extreme poverty, but what a blessing to see them stand up with tears thanking God for being good to them.

I want to thank all of you who have given money to help buy flour and cooking oil this year to help feed our church families. This year, by the grace of God, so far well over 70 tons of flour and 1,500 gallons of cooking oil have been distributed and still more is being distributed even now! This food is a great blessing to these people and they are truly thankful. I hear them testify in church thanking the Lord for the churches in America for loving and helping them.

Once again I want to thank the churches and individuals who support us financially and through prayer. Without your faithful support and prayers we would not be able to be here in Bulgaria doing the Lords work.

I pray the Lord will richly bless each and every one of you.

In Christ,  Frank Cornelius

Dear Brethren,                                                                                                                                October, 2012

Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

I would first like to thank the Lord for giving us such a blessed summer here in Bulgaria.  By the grace of God we were able to have several baptisms over the summer with well over 100 believers following the Lord Jesus in water baptism.  These Turkish gypsies used to be Muslim, but now have accepted Jesus as their saviour and have been saved by God's grace.  We give God all the glory for the wonderful work He is doing here in Bulgaria.

Also, I would like to thank the Lord for giving me the blessing of being able to baptize my daughter Anna this summer.  The Lord has saved both of my children and for this I am truly thankful.

The Lord continues to bless all the churches here in Bulgaria and Romania in a great way.  This summer we took many of the believers here from our churches in Bulgaria up to Romania to have services together.  We had three days and two nights straight of church services.  Many of them would stay up all night singing hymns, praying, testifying, preaching and worshipping God.  The spirit of the Lord came through and really blessed these services.  We are so thankful just to be a small part in what the Lord is doing over here!

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your continued faithful financial support and prayers for my family and the ministry here in Bulgaria.  We love and appreciate all of you and look forward to spending eternity with you.

May the Lord richly bless you all!  Frank Cornelius

 Dear Brethren,           July 2012

Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord is good, and I am thankful for all of His wonderful blessings each and every day.

This past April I returned to Bulgaria and it is good to be back on the field. It is such a blessing to be here and just be a small part in the Lord's work.

When I was in America not only was I able to get my medical needs in order, but I was also able to visit most of my supporting churches. It was such a blessing to come and share with you the Lord's work which you support in Bulgaria and Romania. Many of you I had not seen in several years and I thank the Lord he let us be together while I was back in the states.

Because of my visa situation I had to return to the field a little earlier than I had previously planned and was not able to visit some of my supporting churches. I am truly sorry about this because I wanted to visit every supporting church. Every one of you are special and dear to our hearts.

I want to thank every church and individual who supports us financially and by prayer. Without your faithful prayers and financial support we would not be able to be here.

We love and appreciate you all. May the Lord richly bless you!

In Christ, Frank Cornelius

Dear Brethren,                                                                                               September 2011

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.  I would also like to thank each and every one of you for your faithful prayers and financial support for us these last twenty years.  The Lord has truly been good to us all of these years and has blessed the mission work in Bulgaria and Romania more than we could have ever expected.  He continues to save souls, and to Him be all the glory!

After five years we were finally able to move out of our apartment from the large city of Varna Bulgaria and into our village house.  The house is still not completely finished, (ready for the hard winter) but we thank the Lord for letting us get it to the point where we could move in.  I would like to thank every church and individual who supported us through prayer and finances with this endeavor.  We really appreciate your love and concern for our welfare.  I pray the Lord will bless each one of you abundantly!

Last month we had to return to the states for medical purposes and I am being seen at the Veterans Administration Hospital here in Tennessee.  We plan on going back to Bulgaria in April of 2012.  Shortly after the first of the year I plan on visiting our supporting churches.  It will be such a blessing to see each of you again, as I have not seen some of you in several years.  I will be contacting you by phone shortly after the first of the year if not sooner.

We love and appreciate each of you.  Thank you so much for your continued prayer and support for us.  May the Lord richly bless you all.

In Christ,   Frank Cornelius

Dear Brethren,                                                                                               January 2011

Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  God is good and my family and I are truly thankful for all of his blessings each and every day!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and will have a blessed New Year.  My son Seth came to Bulgaria for a visit this Christmas and that was a very special blessing for us.

Currently we are still waiting to receive our permanent Bulgarian resident visas.  When we receive these, we will not have to reapply for them anymore.  This will be a great blessing for us.  The process for these residence visas takes many months, but it will be worth the wait.  So far everything with this process is going well.  Please continue to pray!

The Lord continues to bless all of our village churches in many wonderful ways.  We are thankful that for over 19 years these churches are still going strong.  God is faithful!  Thousands of souls have been saved throughout the years and to God be the glory!

I would also like to thank all of you who have given money to buy flour and cooking oil to feed our church families this winter.  Every winter we give out flour and cooking oil to get them through the hard winter.  These believers live in extreme poverty and are very thankful for the American churches and individuals who love them enough to help them in their time of need.

I want to thank all of the churches and individuals who support us financially and through prayer.  We thank you for your love and faithfulness in supporting the Lord's work here in Bulgaria.  We love and appreciate you all and pray for you also.

May the Lord bless you all abundantly this New Year!

Dear Brethren,                                                                             November, 2010

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  I first would like to thank our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, for all of His wonderful blessings on me and my family.  The Lord is so good to us and we are truly thankful!

Also, I would like to thank every church and individual for your faithful prayers and financial support for us all of these years.  This coming February we will have been on the mission field for 19 years.  I have to say that the Lord has been good and faithful to us all of these years.

I would like to report the good news that my 14 year old daughter Anna got saved!!!  On Sunday morning, October 3rd at Brookside Baptist Church, (the same church our mission board is out of) the Spirit of the Lord moved through the service in power.  The Holy Ghost touched Anna's heart, convicted her and she went to the altar to get saved.  We are so thankful for all of you who have prayed for her all of these years.  Now both of our children are saved and we are rejoicing in what the Lord has done.

We are now in the process of applying for our permanent residence visas here in Bulgaria.  For many years we were able to receive a one year visa.  We are now applying for our permanent visas.  This will be such a blessing!!  It is very important for these to go through, please pray!

We love and appreciate every one of you and pray the Lord will bless you all abundantly!

In Christ,       Frank Cornelius

Dear Brethren,                                                                             June 2010

“Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Eph 1:3

First I would like to thank our Lord Jesus Christ for being so good to me and my family. The Lord has blessed us so much over the last 18 years on the mission field. Also, I would like to thank all the churches and individuals in America that have prayed and supported us financially all these many years. Without your prayers and support we know that we would not be able to stay on the field. We truly appreciate the love and care you all have shown to us over the years.

The Lord has really blessed the ministry in Bulgaria and Romania over all these years and he still continues to bless and save souls. Last summer we held four baptisms and baptized over 150 adults. We now currently have over 100 churches, mostly house churches. We have 85 churches in Bulgaria and 22 churches in Romania. Most of these have been churches for many years. We are very thankful to the Lord for starting these local churches in these villages. People still continue to come to the local church and be saved.

We had a very hard winter this year with a lot of snow and ice and it was very hard on our people. By the grace of God and financial support from the churches and individuals in America, we were able to feed the families in our churches this winter. We were able to feed around 2,000 families this winter. All of these families are believers and they are very poor in material things, but rich in faith. We were able to give each family a 110 pound sack of flour and over one gallon of cooking oil. In all we gave out more than 215,000 pounds of flour and 2,500 gallons of cooking oil. This was a tremendous blessing to these families and it got them through some hard times. They were rejoicing and thanking the Lord for this help. They also were thanking the churches in America for loving and caring about them.

I would like to thank all of you once again for all of your prayers and support for us. Many of you have given special offerings for us to fix up our house in the village and have given for other needs over the years. I want you to know that I am truly thankful from my heart. May the Lord richly bless each and every one of you!

In Christ, Frank Cornelius

Dear Brethren,                                                                                                                                                                                              August 2009

Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I would first like to thank the Lord for being so good to us and for all of His blessings. I would also like to thank each and every one of you for your faithful prayers and financial support for the past 17 years. We realize that without the prayers and support from the churches and individuals back home, we could not stay here and do the Lord's work here in Bulgaria. We love and appreciate each and every one of you in the Lord.

The Lord continues to bless the work here in Bulgaria in a wonderful way. Within the last few weeks we have had two baptisms. We brought in believers from our churches from many different villages and by the grace of God were able to baptize over 100 people. We have been here for 17 years and it is amazing to see how the Lord is still blessing this ministry in such a great way. It truly is a blessing to be a part of the Lord's work here in Bulgaria. Thank you again for all of your prayers and support over these many years.

As many of you know I have been working on my village house now for several years. The work is going well and the house itself is finished, but I am still in the process of building an addition. We are adding an indoor bathroom, kitchen and small living room. The plumbing is finished and the concrete floor is poured. Next are the insulated block walls, a roof plus windows and bathroom fixtures. The total cost for the block job (block, other materials, and labour) will be around $5,000. The total cost for the roof to be completely finished will be around $8,000. So, for around $15,000 to $20,000 we can have our house finished. Building materials are very expensive now, but I know the Lord is able. We would really like to get the walls up and the roof on while it is still summer, and then finally move in. Any help with this need would be greatly appreciated.

I am really thankful for all the financial help many of you have given over the years for my house and visa's and other needs. I do not forget how you have helped us and I pray the Lord will bless you abundantly!

Prayer Letter  July 2006

Dear Brethren,

I would first like to thank the Lord Jesus for being so good to my family.  We have been on the mission field for over 14 years now and the Lord has never failed us.  He has always been so good to us and has blessed us more than we could have ever imagined.  The Lord truly is faithful!

We just had our visas renewed for another year and we thank the Lord for this.  We are looking forward to another year of blessings here in Bulgaria.

It is truly a blessing to be a part in this ministry here in Bulgaria.  We have churches in many villages and it is such a blessing to see the Lord move on these Turkish gypsies.  These people are very poor in material things but rich in faith.  I was in a service the other day and we were all singing a hymn.  The last verse of this hymn is just thanking God.  Everyone in the service started crying and just thanking the Lord.  They are dirt poor, but they were thanking God.  One young man was about 30 years old and has to walk with two canes.  His feet are all twisted around and he can barely walk.  His clothes were very dirty, torn and he is very poor, but he was crying and testifying, thanking the Lord for His goodness.

It is a blessing to see these poor people being so thankful.  They are thankful for Jesus, for Calvary, for the church, for the missionaries that come and minister to them.  They are very thankful for all of you in America that love God and make it possible for us as missionaries to live over here.  I hear them pray all the time for the churches in America, that the Lord would bless you!

I would like to thank every church and individual that supports us financially and that prays for us.  We realize that without your prayers and financial support we would not be able to live over here and do the Lord's work.

Thank you all and may the Lord richly bless you!

 In Christ, Frank Cornelius

September, 2003

Dear Brethren,

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  I would first like to thank the Lord Jesus for His abundant grace, love and mercy to my family and I.  He has been so good to all of us!

I would also like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and financial support for us as we labour for our Lord.  I am so thankful for your faithfulness to the Lord’s work.  We know that without the prayers and support of the churches here in America, we could not have made it on the field these past 11 years.  Thank you for labouring with us through prayer and giving.  Thousands have been saved in Bulgaria and Romania over the years and this is fruit to your account.

The Lord continues to bless in a great way in Bulgaria and Romania.  We now have 93 churches with 15 national pastors, including 8 American missionary families.  We also are feeding over 1,500 poor children daily out of 32 feeding centers from these local churches.  Some of these people are so poor they would go several days with nothing to eat if we were not feeding them.  These children come to church faithfully with the adults.  These people do not come to church just for food.  Most of them were saved and faithful to the church before we ever started feeding them.  These poor gypsies just received the preaching of the gospel, got saved, started praying and the Lord has blessed them.

My family and I are still here in America right now.  Please continue to pray for my wife, Barbara.  She is still having some health problems.  She had surgery twice in Romania and once here in America in the past two years.  We will be returning to Romania when we have rested some and my wife is better.

May the Lord richly bless you all!

In Christ,

Frank, Barbara, Seth, and Anna Cornelius
